In the near post tiruvatanai Ramanathapuram district was seized 12.5 kg of gold smuggling.

The gold went to take the car to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officers surrounded and arrested them.

The case is being investigated in connection with this registration. Both were arrested, Thondi seems to have been smuggled gold from Trichy.
